No Purchase Necessary. The LFE, Recess Rules!™ Sweepstakes and Instant Win Game (the "Promotion") begins at 12:00:01 AM ET 8/19/07 and ends at 11:59:59 PM ET 1/31/08 ("Promotion Period"). The code will be available on the bottom of any Campbell's® condensed soup can, any Select™ soup can, any SpaghettiOs® Plain and Meatball pasta can; and on any V8 Splash® beverage cap ("Participating Products"); or for free at www.winrecess.com during the Promotion Period.
HOW TO PLAY: Go to www.winrecess.com anytime during the Promotion Period, and click on the "Enter Now" button. Entrants will be asked to enter their complete name, address and email address, and the name, city and state of the school they designate to receive the Grand prize or an Instant Win prize if his/her entry is chosen as a potential Grand/Instant prize winner. To play, locate the code from any Participating Product and enter it into the code field. Free codes are available on the www.winrecess.com website. The time of day when you play the Game determines if you are an instant winner. If your Game play is the first to occur on or after a winning Game play date/time, you win the prize indicated, subject to verification. If you win, you will be told online how to claim the prize for the school designated on your entry. All Instant Win prizes must be claimed by 2/8/08. Limit one Game play per user name per day. Limit one user name per person. Each time you play the Instant Win Game, you will automatically receive one entry into the Grand Prize drawing. Use of any automated entry software is prohibited. Sponsor assumes no responsibility for incorrect or inaccurate entry information, human error or technical malfunctions, lost/delayed data transmission, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, line failures of any computer equipment or software, or any combination thereof, or for lost, stolen, late, illegible, misdirected, entries or mail. All entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned. Entries not complying with all rules are subject to disqualification. To be eligible to win, the school designated on the entry must be a public or private school having any of grades K through 12 located in the 50 United States, the District of Columbia or on any U.S. based military installation; and, if selected as a prize winner, must be registered in the Labels for Education program at time of award.
Prizes and Odds of Winning:
Sweepstakes Prize: (1) Grand Prize: The school designated on the Grand Prize winner's official entry form will receive "A Day of Recess", hosted by the Harlem Globetrotters. The "Day of Recess" will include the following healthy and fun activities: Skills clinics; Games; and CHEER activities. In addition the Grand Prize designated school will also receive a 1,000,000 Labels for Education™ ("LFE") Bonus Point Certificate. Total Approximate Retail Value (ARV) of the Grand Prize is: $34,000. Odds of winning the Grand Prize are dependent upon the actual number of eligible entries received. The Sponsor will award the Grand Prize "Day of Recess" and make arrangements for all the activities listed and for the Harlem Globetrotters to appear at the school designated on the Grand Prize winner's official entry form or other venue as approved by Sponsor and the Harlem Globetrotters. Date of Grand Prize activities to be determined by Sponsor, in its sole discretion. The Grand Prize LFE Bonus Points will be awarded to the school named on the Grand Prize winner's official entry form and school must redeem the LFE Bonus Points via proper LFE procedures.
Instant Win Prizes: (100) First Prizes: - A Recess Kit consisting of: 32 - 8½" Playground balls; 12 Sponge rubber rings; 12 - 4" Beanbags; 1 - 20' Parachute; 6 Spectrum flying discs; 6 colored field markers; 6 – 9" Spot markers; 8 – Beaded jump ropes; 1 - 10W Megaphone; 4 – 24" x 36" Mesh ball bags and 1 Safety dartboard. Plus a 500 LFE Bonus Point Certificate. Total ARV: $209.66/each. Odds of winning: 1:5,000. (1,000) Second Prizes: - A 100 LFE Bonus Point Certificate, ARV: $1.15/each. Odds of winning: 1:500. Total ARV of all Instant Win prizes offered: $22,116. Odds of winning any Instant Win prize are 1:454. Odds based upon an estimate of 500,000 total Game plays transacted over the Promotion Period; actual odds of winning will depend upon the number of actual Game plays transacted. The Instant Win prizes will be awarded directly to the school named on the winner's official entry form and a message acknowledging the donation of the prize to the school with the winner's name will be included with the prize. Unclaimed Instant Win prizes will not be awarded. Total ARV of all prizes offered in the Promotion: $56,116.
Grand Prize Sweepstakes Drawing: On or about 2/15/08, a random drawing will be conducted to award the Grand Prize from all eligible entries received. The sweepstakes drawing will be conducted under the supervision of Marden-Kane, Inc. (the "Promoter"), an independent judging organization whose decisions are final in all matters relating to this Promotion.
Instant Win Prize Notification & Claims: All Instant Win Game winners will receive immediate notification (winning message) online after they play the Game. Game winners will be asked to verify their prize online by confirming their name and address, as well as the name, address, of the school they select to receive the Instant Win prize. Instant Win prizes will be awarded/mailed to the school named/confirmed within 6 to 8 weeks after notification. School named on winner's entry must redeem the LFE Bonus Certificate via proper LFE procedures. All Instant Win prizes must be claimed by 2/8/08.
Grand Prize Notification: Grand Prize winner will be notified by overnight courier on or about 2/15/08, and will be required to complete, sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability Release and, where legal, Publicity Release. The Affidavit will also request that the winner confirm the name of the school they designate to receive the Grand prize and the name of the child they wish to be honored at the Grand Prize event. If Grand Prize winner is a minor he/she will be required to have his/her Parent/Legal Guardian sign the necessary releases on winner's behalf. Completed documents must be returned within 7 days after issuance of prize notification or the prize will be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner. If any notification is returned as undeliverable, the Grand Prize will be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner. Should a Grand Prize winner or the winner's school decide to decline the prize for any reason whatsoever, or fails to claim his/her prize or to sign and return any required document within the required time frame, or fails to meet any eligibility requirement herein, Sponsor shall have no further obligation to that potential winner, and an alternate winner will be selected.
Prize Restrictions: Limit one prize per person, email address, family or household. Prizes are non-transferable, no substitutions or cash equivalents allowed, except at the discretion of the Sponsor. All LFE Bonus Point Certificates awarded must be redeemed by 12/31/08. LFE Bonus Point Certificates can only be redeemed by eligible schools via proper LFE procedures through Campbell's LFE program. Sponsor is not responsible for LFE Bonus Point Certificates once awarded/mailed. The date and times of the "Day of Recess" and the number of Harlem Globetrotter players that will participate will be determined by Sponsor at time of awarding and cannot be changed once confirmed by Sponsor and/or Promoter with the school designated on the Grand Prize winner's official entry/verification form. In the event of unforeseen schedule changes, prize details may be subject to change at the Sponsor's discretion. By entering, entrants agree to be bound by these rules, and consent to the use of their names and/or photographs for advertising or publicity purposes without further consideration, except where prohibited by law. Taxes, if any, for any prize are the responsibility of the winner. Winners release Sponsor, Promoter and the Harlem Globetrotters, their respective employees, directors, officers and agents, and subsidiary and affiliated companies from any and all claims or liability in connection with participation in this Promotion, or acceptance or use of any prize. No more than the listed number of Instant Win prizes will be awarded. In the event the number of winning Game play notifications for any Instant Win prize level exceeds the number of Instant Win prizes listed for that prize level, for any reason, Sponsor reserves the right to conduct a random drawing from among eligible prize claims received to award the listed number of Instant Win prizes.
Internet: If for any reason this Promotion is not capable of running as planned due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the Sponsor which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Promotion, the Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion in whole or in part, at any time, without notice and award the prizes using all non-suspect eligible entries received as of this termination date. Sponsor also reserves the right to disqualify any individual who is suspected of tampering with the entry process. Sponsor assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries. The Sponsor is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or telephone lines, computer on-line systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail or entry to be received by Sponsor on account of technical problems, printing, typographical or other human error or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Website, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to entrants or any other person's computer relating to or resulting from participation in this Promotion or downloading any materials in relating to this Promotion. Eligibility: This promotion is open to legal residents of the 50 United States (including the District of Columbia and U.S. based military installations), aged 13 or older at the time of entry or Game play. Employees or agents of Sponsor, Promoter, the Harlem Globetrotters and their subsidiaries, divisions, affiliates, advertising agencies, and members of their immediate families, including their respective household members, are not eligible to enter. If prize is won by a minor, it will be awarded in minor's name to their parent or legal guardian who must sign all required documents. Sponsor reserves the right to verify eligibility qualifications of winner. Schools named on winning entries must be registered in the Labels for Education program at time of award. Void in Puerto Rico & wherever prohibited or restricted. Subject to all federal, state and local laws and regulations.
